Have been to Kakao a few times and each time the food is amazing. You don't generally come across an Asian restaurant where both the sushi and warm food is great; at Kakao, both the sushi and warm food is amazing. I highly recommend the Crispy beef with garlic and chilli sauce. Highly recommend Kakao and will definitely continue to eat from there.
Delicious meals and generous portions. Waitresses don't know how to serve customers.
You would never expect such a tasty, fresh amd great Japanese food in a parking lot of PnP yet we love to come here or order as the sushibis always lovely and affordable. Seeweed salad is also something else one has to try!! My husband’s fav is the sticky beef which is basically a portion of two and very very very nice.
Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
Nearest first, then across the Rio Grande Valley.
